What to look for
- A hotel on or near the Strip — taxi or rideshare from the airport is short, and Omega Mart or the Neon Museum stay within reach if there’s energy left.
- Check the resort fee — most Strip hotels add a nightly fee on top of the room rate, and parking is often charged too. Compare the full price.
- Weeknights are much cheaper than Friday and Saturday; big conventions push prices up too.
- A quiet room away from the casino floor helps with the jet lag.
